Loads of Leeds fans have been reacting to an update that could impact the promotion race, as Dwight Gayle will serve a two-game suspension for diving.

Anyone not supporting West Brom was absolutely fuming at Gayle on Tuesday night, as Darren Moore’s side scraped a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest with a late penalty.

Of course, the penalty itself wasn’t the issue, rather the fact that Gayle had blatantly dived to win his side the spot kick, a spot kick which ultimately may swing the promotion race in West Brom’s favour.

That point leaves the Baggies in fourth place, six points off the automatic promotion places, though they will now be without Gayle for matches against Aston Villa and QPR.

Leeds fans don’t feel that ban is long enough though, as the Elland Road outfit have been on the receiving end of some controversial bans and FA decisions so far this season.

Of course, there is also the fact that Marcelo Bielsa’s side will now have to face Gayle when the Baggies come to Elland Road at the beginning of March, and the speedster is in fine form this season with 16 league goals.
