Stade Rennes leapfrogged title rivals Lille and moved to the top Ligue 1 after a 2-0 win over Lens on Saturday.Goals in each half from Razak Boukari and Victor Montano were enough for Rennes as they eased to a comfortable victory at the Stade de la Route de Lorient.Frederic Antonetti’s side are now one point ahead of Lille, who can reclaim top spot with a win over fourth-placed Lyon on Sunday.Nice were also 2-0 winners on Saturday, as they put more space between themselves and the relegation zone with a victory away to St Etienne.Scores were locked 0-0 at the interval, before second-half strikes from Kafoumba Coulibaly and Anthony Mounier secured the three points for Nice, propelling them to 15th on the table.Two goals in the space of five minutes helped 10-man Caen salvage a 2-2 draw away to Monaco.A brace on either side of half time from Chu-Young Park had the hosts ahead at the Stade Louis II, but strikes from Youssef el-Arabi and Yohan Mollo gave Caen a share of the spoils.The visitors had to endure a tense final 10 minutes however, after Jeremy Sorbon received his second yellow card in the 83rd minute.Lowly Arles held Brest to a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Sports in Avignon, picking up just their 11th point for the season.Elsewhere, Sochaux and Montpellier both finished with 10 men in their 0-0 draw at the Stade Auguste-Bonal, while Lorient and Valenciennes also played out a scoreless draw.Alou Diarra, Anthony Modeste and Jaroslav Plasil all netted in Bordeaux’s 3-0 triumph over Auxerre at Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas.The win moved Jean Amadou Tigana’s side into 10th place on the table, while Auxerre remain in 17th spot, one point above the relegation zone.
